My name is Barry Ford, I’m a video producer, editor, and videographer with over 20 years of experience crafting stories for broadcast and the web. My work spans commercial production, documentaries, and event videography, with roles ranging from lead editor at Northwest Cable News to technical director at Microsoft Learning. Currently, I’m a commercial producer/editor/videographer at KOMO TV in Seattle, where I write, shoot, and edit broadcast commercials and KOMO image videos for the channel which is is Seattle’s ABC affiliate. I’m also an Emmy-nominated videographer for Pike Place Market: Labor of Love. I specialize in commercial, promotional, and documentary-style productions that connect audiences to real stories — clearly, creatively, and with purpose.
I have worked with a variety of clients over the years including: KOMO TV, Seattle Storm, Microsoft, Honda, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Aegis Living, BECU, Goodwill, plus many local small businesses including: King's Heating, Lake Washington Windows & Doors, Elevator Support Company, Snoqualmie Casino, Seattle Public Schools, Seattle University, and many more. Somewhere out there I am even in some videos for McDonald's and Burger King back when I was working as an entry level PA and someone was needed as a customer so the lowest paid guy on set - ME - got drafted!
